Why would you want to use Jirio to comment JIRA issues from Slack

Discussion happens outside of JIRA

As all communication happens in Slack anyway, it’s quite inconvenient to copy the most important points of the discussion to JIRA into a description field or add as comments. Why would anyone want to open a JIRA ticket and add a summary of a discussion that took place in another place (in Slack)? And even if someone would find themselves to be motivated enough to do that, at which moment of the discussion would that then have to happen?

Doable only when it’s easy with Jirio

Adding comments to JIRA is much more attractive if it can be done without leaving Slack. And it can be done! Just type the following command and it will add your comment to JIRA.

/jirio comment TR-1 This is a comment

As a side effect, your team mates will see your comment in Slack too. Two goals achieved with just one action!
